is it safe to use cow manure instead of horse manure to my allotment?im quite new to allotments and im not sure wether to use it .

so where do you get cow poo from and do you have to pay for it?  Is it just a case of finding a local dairy farm and phoning them up.

Can see Mrs G being delighted when I tell her what I'm going to collect in the boot of the car LOL

You do need to be sure that the farmer didn't use that chemical on his pasture last year that has been doing all the damage to people's lotties. What was it called?

I asked our local butcher, he sources a lot of his beef locally. Two days later I was the proud owner of a great big pile of cattle jobbies, nice and black two year old gear, delivered to my allotment, all for the sum of £15. :D
