beets now pickled, in malt vinegar with a couple teaspoons sugar, these are my test batch ergo i have to eat them

(so that when i make them for christams pressies i know i have got it right)
thats my story and i'm sticking to it

will crack open the jar tomorrow - made two (only a few beets, more this weekend)

At the moment, and it has to be put in in the right order

its cheese, raw onion, wafer thin ham, rinsed beetroot and lettuce. yummy.
