hello every one .i have clean out my polytunnel this week end.i would like to know if i plant this week in the polytunnel broad beans .will i get a crop for Christmas .thanks every one

I very much doubt it.

It'll soon be time to sow for spring cropping.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

 I've had two seasons failure with broad beans since i moved the beans for crop rotation the plan is to set them on another part of the Lottie next season the thing is the ground is a tad on the heavy side i usually  raise the seed in the greenhouse in pots before transplanting them on the Lottie what in your opinion would be a good time to start the BB seed off

i used to have good crops of BB perhaps a general fertilizer or wood ash mix when the BB have established i never used any fert on both season's  because the ground had horse dung spread overwinter

any advise for next season

Try oriental greens instead they grow faster than broad beans which I would forget until the spring then plant outside.

Broad beans need insects for pollination, so if you do grow them inside you will need to deal with this to get a crop  :) although not for Christmas as DD has pointed out ;)
