Title: Parish Council handbook on running allotments from 1951
Post by: BAK on February 02, 2009, 08:40
I put this on a month or so back but it appears to have got lost in the move. So here it is again ... just for the record.

For anybody who is interested in the history of allotments here is a link to a scanned copy of an advisory book on running allotments that was published in 1951 by the National Association of Parish Councils.

It is 2MB in size.

I am interested in tracking down any older material of a similar nature.

Would be curious to read some of the 'Dig for Victory' leaflets in mentions on page 13.
