I never found out what happened, but I did report them to the RSPCA and to DEFRA!

But they still have the chickens there!   :( :( :(

In better condition I hope Ann?
My friends neighbour was found dead in his house, and he had a tiny puppy in the house with him, and no family what so ever.  I rang the RSPCA for help, as that is the sort of thing they do on the tv animal rescue programme isn't it?  I was told sorry we are too busy! I offered to take the puppy to them, still they did not want to know!  I could not keep it as I worked all day, my friend is allergic to animal fur, I explained that too, still didnt want to know!  the puppy had to stay at the friends house, living in the garden and we re-homed him because the local paper ran a front page headline, puppy vigil with dead owner!

No Pamela, they are still in the same small runs!

And I didn't like to put on here what we think of the RSPCA!  They are useless!  Poor little puppy!

I thought it was just me that was not keen!

Well done though for sticking up for the hens.  The place where we bought our first hens from was ok then when we went back it was terrible, dead hens, stinking cages with dogs in and even a dead cat!  Unfortunately our Spanish was not up to complaining to the owners then.  We have been back since and it has new owners and it is really clean.  We got our last hens from them. I have told a pet shop the pups needed water, they went and refilled the dishes straight away.
