How about some pumpkin soup, with cheese to melt on top and some crusty bread for starters  :)

Some sausages cooked on the bonfire that we will not tell Aunt Sally about. Just have to find those matches that she confiscated from me last time I wanted to burn rubbish.  ;)

Oh what about some toffee apples - I will make those. Mind your teeth everyone.  :D

I suppose parkin would go down well, too  8)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Too early for "B"-fires?  Such a shame as they warm the heart when all around is sinking into chill and darkness. (There's been a bit of that where I am.)

Cider, on the other hand, sounds exactly what's needed. If ever I get time I'll be a gathering-up the ton of windfalls and searching for a juice hex-tractor on he-bay.  :tongue2:

I think we could have a small bonfire, Shaun, DD, Richie and Munty don't seem to be around much any more and they were the usual culprits when an 'accident' happened.   Now we don't have to store their rotavators in the shed there's not so much flammable material around.  (Oops forgot Gwiz isn't here either with his questionable drinking habits)!
