Welcome to the site  :D

Hopefully someone will be along soon to answer your question
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Hi there and welcome.

Definitely don't throw it away -- at the very worst you have got some delicious stewed plums to eat  :)

Is this the recipe you used?

Is the fruit sort of floating on the surface of the jam, or well mixed through?

Hiya, I've just made a big batch of plum jam and the recipe I follow says boil until the temperature reaches 106 degrees centigrade, then it will set.

Hope that helps - it worked for me  :)

Sorry, this won't help with your current batch of jam, but using a sugar thermometer takes a lot of the guesswork out of jam-making: if you're going to do it regularly, I'd recommend investing in one.
