Zsa Zsa is my 10 mth old Ancona. I have posted about her before, she had a bald bum, then she stopped laying & having checked her for being eggbound it turned out to be a tumour.  I have kept her and you wouldnt really know there was anything amiss. She has actually started maturing featherwise i.e getting more white feathers and her face and head are whiter.  Anyway today I found her in the nest box, after my Cream Legbar had laid.  She didnt lay anything but I picked her up to check and noticed her bum feathers have grown back and the tumour felt smaller.  I have been using Poultry Spice but I am suprised at the amount of new soft feathers on her bum.  Has anyone experienced a chicken recovering from a tumour  or am I just getting  my hopes up?

Hi Prod,
There is some evidence of tumour regression in certain breeds of poultry but not sure which breeds and the mechanism is unknown.
