Maskotka tomato from saved seed
« on: June 06, 2023, 13:33 »
I'm sure my seedlings from last year didnt look quite like this years do.....

The only difference being that this is the first year Ihave used saved seed. I don't remember them being marked f1 when I bought last years seeds. What are the chances this years wont come through true to the parent?

Did you have any other varieties nearby? Even if you do I think its something like a 98% chance your saved seeds will be true becaus tomato flowers self polinate before they open most of the time.

the variety might not be fully stable and you are getting some variation, that could be a possibility
