Wrll, I thought they were melon seeds...but the embryonic fruits look awfly butternut squashish to me!

How about marking a label with a permanent marker than soon reveals itself to be impermanent.

At least you have embryonic fruits Kleftiwallah.  I have flowers, flowers and flowers but no sign of a melon (or even a butternut squash!).

At least you will get something to harvest, the only melon plant that survived for me, keeps dropping it's fruit, even though it's been hand pollinated, fed and watered. Fussy Madame!
