Manchester City parking help please
« on: September 27, 2019, 12:11 »
Taking the lad and 2 others to the Uni open day tomorrow, where would a good place be to park. I will be hopefully mooching through the shops as he doesn't need me asking questions.
Probably looking at 5-6 hours parking.

Would have thought the Uni would be offering free parking - most did when we took our lad to look round. It isn't too far to walk from the Uni, or Metro Uni into town or a short bus ride which will be far cheaper than 6hrs parking in the centre. Alternatively parking in one of the suburbs and using bus/tram/train to get into the centre would be a good option.

When I lived there nearly 30 yrs ago I'd have thought 5 times about driving into the centre on a Saturday!
