Maggots in turnips
« on: September 05, 2011, 20:41 »
My turnips have been got at. They look OK from the outside but have some kind of white grub inside. I've grown small turnips for years but never seen this before. Is there some kind of fly or other pest that's specific to turnips?

As turnips are brassicas they could be cabbage root fly grubs
