Title: looking back on 2019
Post by: rowlandwells on December 31, 2019, 16:58
so looking back on the past year can you remember  what happened it mite be you won a bit of cash had a good holiday or other things that are worth a mention

for me it was being put  back on my feet from a serious illness by all those doctors and nurses that make our NHS  the best in the world and to those people I am truly indebted because without there help things would be looking very different for me i also think god was on my side to every day i get up i say to myself I'm alive and able to face another day whatever i want to and feel sad at those not able to do what they used to do

so I'm going to raze a glass or maybe two to all those who work in the NHS god bless and a happy new year to you all

Likewise glad your on the mend, greenjay is correct, health is Everything.

You can really notice the difference between Scotland and everyone else in the UK.
Radio Scotland has been tuning up for seeing the year out for an hour. Radio 4 is still chatting. They had a bit about Auld Lang Sang, the tune originaly was from a song entailing a woman yelling at her OH saying how he can't be married if he, ahem, get everything working. What's wrong with it? Can you get it to work?
