Been clearing the allotment this year and about 1/4 to 1/3 of it is almost useless due to heavy over growing tree branches that are on park land and it has got me thinking about building a poly tunnel type thing near the bottom ready for next year.

The question I have is (Probably a silly question):

Will a poly tunnel function in a very shaded area? Ideally I would be using it for growing stuff from raised beds and getting seedlings etc started off.

Any advise greatfully received.
