Transplanting from pot to bed

Is there a good or bad time of the day to transplant potted plants into the ground?

Transplanted some sweet peas and sunflowers today around midday and wondered if I should be doing this early morning or evening time.

Just curious.

As Yorkie says really, I try not to transplant in very hot sunny weather,but we all know that is not always possible. Today was one of those days here,but I really needed to get the broad beans in,so I just made sure I watered them in well.
