Argos are selling off polycarbonate cold frames for just £15.99. I have one on reserve even though I wasn't really looking for one yet.

Just had a look and would have bought one as I don't have a cold frame but, where we keep our horses the owners of the land have just had a new house built and the amount of new 'off cuts' of wood which had been put to be burnt should be made a criminal act.  The builders have told us to help ourselves as the owners are away.  We have now collected enough wood to build a superior cold frame that Hyancinth Bucket would be proud of, on the pretext of using it for kindling.  Ye gods, I'm not tight but I hate needless waste.
