Just extended my plot to include a building
« on: June 14, 2013, 08:48 »
I've had my plot now just comign on a year in July, it's been a hard slog but we are getting there, just had the opportunity to extend it to now what will be 3 plots and include a rather large building which has been used for pigeons previously but is quite clean and tidy inside as it has been looked after, needs a bit of an overhaul, but living room, kitchen, toilet/room and storage room will be sorted, well happy

Here's a pic of the allotment how it stands at the moment, you can just see the shed on the right at a geight

The shed itself

and it's got some decent space in it, and it's well built :)

Focus has turned from the pallet shed that i was building to this, the pallets will be used for decking where the origional shed will be going with some furniture made up aswell

got a canny lil view out of the double doors onto my allotment aswell :)

the hard work continues :)

Good job you are not on our site, we have a new build that is causing some right arguements and its nowhere near that large.

The one on our site is not huge but it is 12 foot high and the old boys are in outrage as it causes a fair amount of shade.  ::)

Thankfully the site Im on is a pigeon site, so all of the plots basically have/are buildings like this, apart from my main one, which is the only true growing plot on site

My 'plot' (well, back garden) is also a 'pigeon site' and will probably remain so unless some kind soul lends me a 12-bore.....

Hell's teeth - that's not a shed it's a housing complex!!

Amazing.

I could do, its fairly hot in there already and gets a fair bit of light, but with the roof being pretty solid, and pretty big, im not really waiting to mess with it, lol

Perhaps replace a few side panels?

Early tomoatoes... late potatoes, indoor early french bean crop?
Just a thought.

Either that or you could breed budgies.  ;)

So, had it just over a week now, and work has been going strong :)

This is how we started

and now, still needs a lot of work but alot safer instead of having an old gate resting on the beams

and a view from the new double glazed window during a thunder storm

Hope you can keep up with the weeds on four plots. We find three can be difficult
