I'm considering buying in some extra compost, as I'm using up my own far too quickly. Price quoted by my nearest supplier is £138.99 for 5 cubic meters. And that's for delivery within 10 miles (and I'm 30 miles away).

Wondered if others had seen much cheaper.

John, I read your diary entries for late Feb/early March with interest. Are you able to disclose what price was paid for your bulk delivery?

5 cubic metres is over 10 tonnes.  Sounds like a reasonable deal to me

check with the council green recycling system  here  i get it for £30 a 20 ton load and £20 for a 3 tonne load ..if memory serves ... ts cheap lets put it that way cos they cant use it fast enough ,another bright idea where they end up actually dumping it in landfill
