Wow has anyone seen the prices of seed from premier seeds on fleebay i dont think i will be buying from them again 99p per pack for just  about any seed some even more ,last year they was half the price for most things, ill look around for some cheaper ones, anyone got names of good  cheaper companies?

As a Yorkshireman myself I have a severe aversion to parting with my money but I do think a quid for a packet of seeds is a pretty good deal. If I can get 50/60 cucumber plants from one packet of seeds and each plant gives me 15/20 fruit that compares pretty well with buying cukes at Tesco's.
Lol yes im just tight but im getting used to  paying a bit more now even though i moaned about prices i still went and ordered  some more today paid with nectar points .
diggity dig dig

I always look at Premier Seeds first.  The selection isn't as great as some of the other companies, but the number of seeds that you get when compared to Aldi etc. is amazing value for money... ;)

I too think Premier are good value.  Plus the p&p is cheap and you get good service.  They are still top of my list compared to some of the other companies.

I used to buy from Alan Romans, but they got taken over.

I'll post the fact, as I do every time this crops up, that if you want seeds in quantity, Moles Seeds are very hard to beat. Good for sharing!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I did get loads in Lidl today, my peas and beans are not the qty that DD uses, and postage can be a bit  >:( I've got loads of runners and special ones, but have been waiting to get some bog standard varieties- but can't really complain at 5 pks for £2 and 60 or 70 seeds a pkt (Kelvdon W. Sugar bon, Saxa, Yellow wax).  Will try to give up seed purchases for Lent.  Maybe  :D

Same company.

We were in Lidl this morning and I looked at the seeds, but they didn't have anything I needed, so back to Premier!  LOL

They don't have their own site.  They sell through Amazon and eBay.

Has anyone tried seedparade.co.uk. They come in little clear bags instead of a packet.
