Hello all,
We are hoping to repair our coldframes after a nasty bout of vandalism destroyed the lot during summer.
The top wooden frames were covered with UV inhibited polythene (visqueen) sheeting previously. As this seems to be an attractive material to vandals I was wondering if anyone can recommend any other kinds of material we could use?
I don't think glass would be suitable either - not just from a vandalism point of view but we'd like to be able to fit it onto the existing wooden frames.
Any help or advice appreciated!

try clear plastic  window material from diy shops . to cut it to size mark it rougly .,now put some masking tape over those marks and redo it .now ise a jigsaw or very sharp knife depending on thickness chosen. use the metal cutting blade if ur using a jigsaw    to cut with a knife place it on a 4 innch by 1 inch plank at the cut mark after scoring it ,then press down on this cut line to break it cleanly .finally use a small file to remove rough edges
