« on: April 30, 2013, 08:51 »
I have just found a jar of damsons on gin that I put together late last summer, is it salvageable?

6 weeks  that's hardly time to turn the gin pink  :nowink:

If nothing is green a fluffy, and it shouldn't be - drink away.

Thanks for all the advice, the brandy I bottled (it is an acquired taste I shopck unsuspecting friends with a glass) the damsons I covered in melted chocolate and ate spitting stones  charmingly like the lady I am - many thanks for all the advice.

Now what about veg I can grow on heavy clay with wall to wall molluscs, I am currently growing potatoes and onions and get away with runner beans  any more ideas?

I made an interesting wine from the pods of purple podded peas!  Runner bean wine can be very good.

Cheers,   Tony.

Tony your the second person that has mentioned runner bean wine, I'm thinking that we have a glut of beans at the moment may give it a shot.
