Yesterday we took on our first allotment. We are looking forward to the cultivation journey that lies ahead. The plot is overgrown and so needs clearing. Our journey has begun... hoping it's a fruitful one.

Congratulations on getting a plot, even if it is overgrown. At least you have plenty of time to clear it before the main planting season next spring

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new lotty
Take pictures at the start so you can see how you've progressed, and if you're doing clearance at this time of year I'd consider covering up the cleared bits so that weeds don't come along behind you ...
