Cockle shell paths
« on: February 05, 2020, 19:42 »
I'm planning on buying a large amount of cockle shells to put down as surfacing for paths. They look fab in next doors garden. I will however have lots left over. Can i use them in my hen run.

If you can store the left-overs, then it might be a good idea to do so.   You may find after settling etc, you could need them for topping up.    Mrs Bouquet

Not so sure they’d be good in the hen house, they would just trap the muck I think, might be sharp on their feet.
