Yesterday the forecast showed today as wall to wall sunshine, Lovely I thought, overnight it has changed to what we actually have, grey, breezy, muggy and 15C.  Sunny periods perhaps this afternoon, I won't hold my breath

After several weeks with only the occasional millimetre or so of rain I didn't mind being woken up at 4am this morning by the sound of quite heavy and persistent rain - about half an inch in total. 

Now grey, misty and 15C - every quarter of an hour for the last few hours I've been trying to convince myself it's getting a bit brighter...

Must have rained overnight as the flat roof had puddles  on it.  Never heard all the thunder we were supposed to have had but all the photos are from West Wight. A few showers this morning but then it was quite bright, driving back from the shop steam was coming off the road and several house roofs.

Lovely sunshine and warmth this morning 16C and the grass is soaked from the overnight rain, more rain forecast for tonight, as well. Woohoo!

Much the same here.  We had rain last nigh and it was still a bit grey first thing but now clearing to bright sunshine

Well we had a decent amount of rain yesterday - I got soaked going from potting shed to greenhouse so retreated indoors. Cool, breezy but dry and sunny today.

We had a couple of thunder storms blow though overnight and this morning it is raining steadily. Just what the gardens neeeded 
On the minus side the flowers, just beginning to open on the climbing roses, are now all over the footpath *sigh* It looked so pretty yesterday

Some thunder in the early hours, steady rain since then.  Hopefully will last a few hours more.

My rain measuring thingy seems to be on the fritz but still tells me the temperature OK. Anyhoo, we've had a reasonable amount of rain over the last couple of days. Had to use the backup finger in the soil measuring system.
Supposed to be a decent day ahead!

Rain over night but no where near the amount they predicted. It's looking promising so far this morning though, a bit of high cloud but mainly blue sky and sunshine with a nice breeze to stop it being unpleasant. I've tempted fate and put some washing on.

Apparently the storm started about 10pm last night.  I never heard a thing.  Lots of lightning and only a few rumbles.  Quite bright and warm today but a warning of more rain for tomorrow.

It's gone grey again, low cloud and pretty windy too.  It's dropped to 13c and I'm back to 2 layers.

Heavy rain all morning then brightened up and been quite nice this afternoon.
