Cheap but tasty

Here's a quick meal that's cheap to make, but tasty and good for you.

Cook some pasta, add a tin of tomatoes with herbs.  Add a tin of canellini beans to bulk it up a bit and spin it out.  Make sure it's good and hot, then serve it up and bung on a handful of grated cheese and a bit of black pepper.  Yum!

i make something like that but everytime i make it i put something different in,peppers,sliced cougette,onions ,owt :lol:

chicken and leek bake the easy way
2 of my leeks or 6 of karls  :D
2 chicken breasts
1 tin of chicken or mushroom soup
clean chop and steam your leeks just a bit
fry the chopped up breasts until cooked
now pour the lot into a oven dish and pour the tin of soup over it
put it on gas mark 6 for 40 mins
salt and pepper is upto you  :wink:
feed the soil not the plants
organicish
you learn gardening by making mistakes

6 of mine .would do a jesus on the shores of gallilee mate all id need then is 2 of my spring cabbages  :wink: .
2 chicken breasts, ya tight bum  more like 8 for me n mine and the legs
still alive /............

the recipe was for serving 2 average people mate not a blooming army  :D
still got to plant my spring cabbages they have been ready to plant out since september  :shock:

god you guys can cook as well its all i can do to turn up for work on time (ISH ) do the bin's but cook hell the pub is open during oven time :D

Hey, mrs veg, once those tomatoes start growing, you won't be opening any tins of tomatoes to put with your pasta,  you'll be wondering what to do with them all.  I've still got about 60lbs in my freezer!!!!
