Popped into Homebase in Livingston this morning looking for a few plants and found that they have reduced peat free compost from £5 to £2 for 60L and 33L growbags from £1.79 to 50p.  Came away with 6 which will be great to top up the deepbeds between crops.

Got some compost today...'enriched compost' (its not..it lasts as long as normal compost) reduced by a third 100l for £3.99

I was worried about the quality after a B&Q disaster this year, but its a good quality...

Just thought! I did not check if it was peat based, so will be kicking my own butt if it is
