I actually crossed my fingers when I called for the result.. please not up! To be honest it's not terribly tough but Val does sort me with filling, satisfying meals that taste well yet aren't too calorific. Some things are actually much better than you'd think.
Half a tin of tomatoes on dry wholemeal toast with a couple of slices of bacon. Less than 500 calories (about 460 to be pedantic) and filling.
Some days I may well eat 1800 calories but mostly around 1500 or less. Lots of water (in a glass, not from the bottle as I'm over 2 years old)
Last night was fish, grilled tomatoes, sweetcorn and peas. Delicious and about 500 calories with a 200 calorie ice cream after. Not deprived at all.. well mostly
