How long ago did you plant them out?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Mine looked similar to that several weeks ago, been giving them manganese and magnesium every week since and they have improved dramatically.

This year, I suspect that all the rain has washed the goodness out of the soil. Give anything that looks a bit sad a general purpose feed occasionally -that should do the trick.

Try a liquid tomato fertilliser if you've got any - general purpose liquid fertilisers tend to have a lot of nitrogen in them which isn't ideal for beans, although still better than nothing as long as you don't use it too often.

You could add some Growmore or dried chicken poo too, although they take longer to work than liquid feeds do.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

It is mostly nitrogen that gets washed away, which is why any general fertiliser (they all include nitrogen) will help, tomato feed is also used once plants are flowering. More flowers means more beans  :)

I've really struggled with dwarf french beans this year. Germination only about 15% despite being new seeds for the year. I think the ground is too cold. What's even more annoying is that I (always) put two seeds at a growing place and where they have germinated, both seeds in one place have germinated and none in most of the rest of the places.

I've had no germination from my dwarf french beans and wondered am I too late to sow any more as I do have some seed left?

I found a number of mine germinated, lying on the surface. I think the birds must have pulled them out. This has never happened before. I don't know if germination has been poor, or if they have germinated and been taken away by the birds.

Sowing and harvest chart
http://www.allotment-garden.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Vegetable-Sowing-Harvest-Chart.pdf

says you can sow them in June & July. That's assuming we get some warm weather in July, August and September. Who knows, but if you've got seeds it's worth a punt IMO. I'd start some off in pots/modules inside if you can, to get them off to a good start, at least.

Unless you know they won't get munched by slugs, I definitely agree with mum's suggestion to start them off in modules  >:(
