Do you mean a notification of a Smith Period/near miss? Not quite the same.

I've had notification of a full Smith Period in LE1 postcode area and a near miss in the LE13 area.

Many of the users of this site are already registered with the Potato Council Blightwatch scheme. The potato Council site gives some good advice for allotment growers
http://www.potato.org.uk/ and click on Fight against blight. The blight descriptions and photos are especially useful if you have not seen blight before.
