Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

early season blight is no way as harmful as late season,relax folks.

Very true bb, I know early blight is seldom much of a problem.  I just thought it interesting to have a Full Smith Period so early in the season.

I also thought I give members the opportunity to sign up for blight warnings which are very useful later in the summer.

"Blight" is just not a nice word - haven't even got my outside tomatoes out yet!  :(  :(

early season blight is no way as harmful as late season,relax folks.

Not to get confused though, I think, 'early blight' is a different disease - not prevalent in the UK yet - and nothing to do with 'late blight' coming early, which is the disease this site forecasts the conditions for.

They are different disease as you say gobs.

Late blight is the one we all worry about.
