Title: Wood chippings or bark mulch?
Post by: Oboejane on March 17, 2011, 22:02
Quick question- due to moving location of coop temporarily to an area with a concrete base, I wondered if it is safe to use commercial bags (ie from DIY store) of wood chippings or bark mulch. Any advice welcome  :)

wood chippings is much better to use. has to do with mold that can get in the mulch

Hi AH

I use the hemcore or easibed which we use for the horses stables its dust free medicated and really absorbent, easy to poo pick and places like countrywide do their own brands for just under a fiver!
