butter looks great but i never see cheap cream where i am how much are we calling cheap and for how much weight ?

Supermarkets usually reduce their cream as it reaches sell by date, farm shops maybe as they don't tend to sell much, but we get ours from the cash and carry.

I couldn't remember what I'd made last time, but just found my post on it.

"4 litres of double cream for 90p and it made over 5lbs of butter and 1.5 litres of buttermilk"

But that was a good day, very often they don't have any at all.

i look each time im in , was that 90 p per litre or for the whole lot .

For the whole lot!    There was a 2 litre priced at 50p and 2x1 litres at 20p each! All double cream.     It doesn't happen very often though!   More's the pity!
