Bamboo
« on: June 08, 2012, 21:11 »
I was given a really big congrats bouquet when I had my first daughter.  It is some of the curly stuff.  Well in the last 3 years it's been sat in a tiny vase and we change the water about once a month when green.  It has fab roots and put out loads of fresh shoots.

Surely it can't just live off green water, should it not have some soil, feed?

They manage pretty well without any food. I'd leave well alone

If the new leaves start to look pale, then you could add a tiny* drop of something like Baby Bio when you change the water

* I would put a drop in a cup of water and then use about a tablespoon of that water, so as not to overdo it
