Freecycle

Sorry if I'm being obvious - you guys probably know all about it - but just in case - there is a national network of freecycle sites where you can ask for and offer almost anything.

The idea is to avoid it going to landfill. People are always offering topsoil/rubble for hardcore etc [in Norfolk anyway] so some of you may find it useful.

Type freecycle+uk into google and you'll finbd it.
Apologies again if you are all yawning and I'm teaching you to suck eggs.
Lou

Don't worry about it Ezlou.  There may be a few newbies here that haven't discovered the joys of freecycle yet!

But yes, you are right, its a great idea.  I alone have got a garden shredder off it (but can't get a new fan belt for it!!!) a greenhouse frame which OH cut new glass for me, and I've given away loads of plants, pots, wood and a few other things that I didn't want to waste!
