The foils on my razor get a hole about every eighteen months, and they're expensive to replace!

Just to keep them going a few more weeks or so, you can stick a small square piece of sellotape over the offending area, and carry on as usual...

It may be temporary, but it puts off the awful moment of buying new ones (they always have to be a full set at £20 a pop don't they) by a few weeks, and you may not be able to get them immediately anyway...

And the difference in shaving time is negligible!
