I made these at the weekend from a manky old bit of wood that used to be fastened to the car port. I'm quite pleased with how they came out, I might change career  :tongue2:

Nice bit of recycling. They'd be described on ebay as 'shabby chic' at twice the normal price.

There's a local poncy furniture store flogging naff ones for £35 each! There's some nice ones on EBay but some crummy ones too, makes you wonder if they ever sell any of them.

I've waxed them now and put them on the wall, just need a couple of decent candles for them now and then I'll take a pic of them lit up :) and then I need to hunt around for other grubby bits of wood and see what else we can conjure up  :)
