What exess produce does everyone freeze from the plot, im not sure which stuff is freezable and which isnt...

just so im prepared, or can put extra of certain things in...

Hi   I freeze    cauliflower,  broc, carrots, beans, peas,   am trying parsnip and corn this year.   all u have to do is blanch  for 3 min  drain well on wire rack and then freeze  on rack,   then put in bag.     works ok   4  me.   Michael

I often freeze leeks at the end of the season, washed, sliced and blanched. Very handy to add to all kinds of things.
Also red cabbage - I cook up a huge batch with apple, onion, and a liitle vinegar and brown sugar, freezes well.
I given up freezing french beans - texture changes too much
Most soft fruit freeze really well - still using up blackcurrants from last summer
Playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order!
