Our lovely local council are giving away the compost they make from all of our green waste. Here is the link to more info

It looks to me like good stuff - all black and crumbly with only a few bits of twigs and stuff in it. Hope this helps someone!

Good Morning.  This is my first post and I have enjoyed reading all the other posts.  I have added this website to my favourites so I can keep an eye on what is going on. I was very interested to see that a Council is giving away anything.  I know our Recycle place sells the compost that it makes from people bringing in green waste but they definately dont give it away.  Wished I lived nearer...

Our Council gives away all the spring/summer bulbs that they dig up. You just go and help yourself.
