I once parked my car in a town that was strange to me and could not remember how to get back to the car park. I did remember it was very near a theatre so I went onto google maps on my phone. Once I found it on there, it was really easy to walk back to the car park. Take a picture of a shop or landmark where ever to leave your transport and you'll have a marker to work back towards. Next time, you 'll be so much better prepared.
