Sweet Potatoes

How do you grow sweet potatoes? My veg growing books were written before we had ever heard of sweet potatoes. :?

Unfortunatley I can't help but I am sure someone will soon be along to help you.

I hadn't even tasted one until about a month ago :shock: and thought it was delicious so would be interested to know about growing it too.

Thanks folks, I'll have a go and let you know. I am lucky enough to have a polytunnel so I'll try them in there.

ps I also live in a building site which makes the garden an even more inviting place to be.
