Red & green broad beans?

I'm growing red Epicure broad beans, Masha. S'posed to be scrummy.

I grew them last year and steamed them for a few minutes then mixed them with a little cream and mint.  Can't say they were wonderful, but my Nici liked them!

And they re pretty!!  No they aren't at al like peas as you eat the whole pod, likementioned earlier, you pick them when they are about 1 1.5 inches long!

Well this year we're in for a treat - I aint growin' nuttin but stuff I love!  So farewell, runner beans - vile, loathsome, stringy horrors!  Welcome, lush salad leaves, spuds, sweetcorn, all the mediterranean veg and armfuls of beautiful flowers for cutting.  MMmmm!

I love everthing I grow    ... the problem is trying to persude the family to love it too !!  :roll:

I also don't like Tomatoes unless they are cooked.  I grow them too.  My partner loves them as does his work mates!

I can't help but think I'm missing out and wish that I did like them.

I wouldn't grow a chocolate plant or an ice cream plant because I can't stand either.   I don't like strawberries either but OH does so he has those and I have my raspberries.
