i have a small plot with these which has been left a while and now needs
sorting out. would it be ok to lift the strawberry plants repot while i sort out the
bit of land then replant them :unsure: :unsure:

I've got the same job, and now's the time to do it. If your parent plants have done 3 productive years then they should be discarded. If not lift and trim off the old leaves and repot. Likewise with any runner plants. They don't have to have individual pots. Mine will all go into large trays providing the roots are covered. Ideally they should not be replanted into the same bed (prevent disease), so prepare a new bed and use the old bed for something else.
I have a row of good cropping early strawberries whose time is up and I have left the runners to establish. When I have dug up a row of gladioli corms, the new strawberries will be replanted there for the next 3 years.
