Today was cooked mince from the freezer with leftover fried potatoes with onions, runner beans & glazed turnips. Considering it was a fridge & freezer rummage it turned out very nice

Couple of turkey wings in the slow cooker.  I'll strip the meat and make a turkey pie later, with runners and steamed pots.  The bones etc will continue on to make stock for tomorrow ...

Half price lump of pork shoulder from T**co this am (only went in for baking marg and dry ginger) so it is in the slow cooker with cider, apples, carrots etc.  I'll do it hot with roast veg tonight, and there will be plenty have cold and for the cooking veggies to get the last of it back to make a good casserole over the weekend.  Result.   :)

I put cubed beef, barley, carrots, lentils, peppers, tomatoes, onions and garlic in the slow cooker. Served with cabbage and mash.
Another portion in the fridge for tomorrow and 2 to go in the freezer.  :)

I'm letting the side down tonight.  Indian takeaway as CBA fairy landed with a bump and we were both knackered from a long week at work

Nothing wrong with that!  Happens to us all ...

Tonight was cold pork, mash, runners and beetroot gratin.  All home grown.  :)  Well, except the pig!   ::)
