dreaming in 6 years green house
« on: June 30, 2014, 22:39 »
i can claim my pension £12,000 in 6 years i would like to build a brick Victorian green house against my west facing brick wall. I can probably do it mostly myself and oh. will I get the benefit of it, what are the pros and cons of a green house apart from starting off veg, peppers and earlier toms.

it will be about 20ft wide and 6 ft deep.

i guess i could sit in there too on cool sunny days.

As you say you can use some of it as a conservatory to sit in. I love my 2 greenhouses and find that they soon fill with seedlings in the spring. In the big greenhouse we have 2 grapevines growing you could also have a peach tree the options are endless it just depends on how much you want to do. If you did nothing being a Victorians greenhouse it would look spectacular  :D

It doesn't need to be a greenhouse as such - a conservatory should give you the same results but with more comfort!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
