We have decided to get rid of our Daffodil bulbs so have dug them all up.
Now I did not want to just throw them.
We have a small wood near by were we take our dog for a walk and the path is raised with a wooded area both sides, about 25 yards on both sides.
My idea is to get my bulbs throw them as i walk along the path on both sides but would they grow, would they have a 50% chance, only dogs would walk in the wooded area as it is very ruff.

I think they'd have a very limited chance of growing if you broadcast them like that.

As you have dug them up, they'd do best being stored until the autumn, then planted.

I'm sure the bulbs would require planting, as the bulb would be above the soil & liable to attack by slugs & other animals, also they would have to root down into the soil to take up nutrients.

You could plant them now, in the green, ready to flower next year.
