I vaguely remember some one saying that fresh young turnip and swede tops are good to stir fry. Having just thinned mine, I am wondering if this is true or if I just dreamed it up from somewhere.
Anyone done it?

I've used turnip tops but not swede tops.............
no reason why not, I just haven't ;)

Thank you. The swedes havent been in as long so they look (and feel) more tender. Anything you put with them? i was thinking ginger ... or maybe garlic?
-
I have used them with other shredded veg in a stir fry...with ginger garlic and chilli

My turnip tops have too many flea beetle holes to look that appetising

Tell me...what hasn't got holes in this year
