hi all.i am currently shading the whole sunny side of my greenhouse with a light beige coloured old quilt cover.my tom plants seem to be doing ok at the moment but will they need more full sun once the fruits start to develop?ive also noticed they dont need watering as much too!any advice would be helpful thanks :)

They need heat to ripen, not full sun, so hopefully summer will warm up nicely :)

I've painted the outside of my greenhouse with 'cool glass'. I read somewhere that putting shading inside the greenhouse is no good as the sun's rays have already got in and that's what you're trying to avoid.
Have I been doing it wrong and defacing my greenhouse all this time? :(

Lots do this and I guess it works well, epecially if you have the one that lets more light through on dull days than on sunny days :D
