Title: Pea frames
Post by: lentil987 on March 09, 2006, 22:00
I plan to plan sugar snap peas, mangetout as well as normal peas on my allotment. Whats the best sort of pea frame to use?

I am considering net versus bamboo. Anyone got any advice?

Net is good, a large mesh is fine. If you have peas that don't grow too tall, you can just stick brushwood sticks in to give them something to cling to.
Good luck!

Sugar Snap peas tend to grow very tall and need a solid support similar to runner beans
