Title: Gardeners delight
Post by: chickpeacurry on May 22, 2016, 10:29
These tomatoes have been slow to germinate they are about a inch high.  Is it worth me potting them up or will they come to nothing given we are mid May and I live in the north east. Thanks

Gardener's Delight are usually pretty quick off the mark - do you mean that they were much slower in comparison to other varieties you sowed at the same time?

If the seedlings look healthy they'll probably catch up - they are one of the most reliable (and tasty) varieties I've grown over the years.

Your babies will not start fruiting until late August. I would go to a garden centre and but some plants.
