Title: Silicone oven mitts
Post by: Lardman on July 28, 2014, 21:44
I really need some more oven gloves the ones I have are falling apart, and very thin  I've been looking at the silicone ones which look like wedges but Im not convinced. Does anyone have them are they any good ?

I've been using Silicone mitts for a few years. Far better than the cloth ones imo.
You may want to do a scout around though, as some are far thicker than others, and that can make handling things a bit tricky. I think my current set came from Dunhelm.

I had one but it was too thick, I couldn't get hold of small handles on casserole dishes. I got some silicone squares from the pound shop, which work quite well, but I end up using the thick cotton oven mitts that I bought on the doorstep. :nowink:
